The case of unfurnished venues

It is the Lausanne pattern we meet most often: many events take place in converted industrial spaces, halls, rooftops or company premises with no furniture at all. The venue provides volume and character; everything else has to be composed.

That is exactly what we do: sofas and armchairs to carve lounge areas out of a large volume, chairs and tables for seated formats, coffee tables, sideboards, lighting and decoration to set an atmosphere. Outdoors, our terrace furniture extends the season.

Three tips specific to Lausanne

Think about the slope. Lausanne is built on a hillside: access, lifts and carrying distances vary enormously from one venue to the next. Describe the actual access, not just the address.
The academic calendar concentrates demand. Term starts, graduation ceremonies and the end of the academic year create peaks. Book early on those windows.

How far ahead should we book?

Two to six weeks gives you the widest selection. We regularly handle shorter notice — our proximity to Lausanne helps — but the available choice narrows.

Do you work on the EPFL and UNIL campuses?

Yes, as at any other venue in the canton. The campuses have their own access rules and delivery slots: send them to us with the quote request.

Can you furnish a completely empty space?

It is our most common Lausanne scenario. Halls, rooftops, raw premises: we compose the full set-up from the volume and the guest count.

Do you rent for a single evening?

Yes. Event formats are counted in days. The exact duration and the set-up and dismantling times are set out in the quote.

Do you also provide tableware and technical equipment?

No — our business is furniture and decoration. We are glad to work alongside your caterer and your technical provider.
