One region, four kinds of events

Weddings. The Riviera's speciality: Lavaux wine estates, lakeside hotels, private properties, village halls with a view. Furniture plays a central role here, because the venue is often bare and the photography matters. See our weddings page.
Corporate seminars and retreats. The region attracts companies wanting to take their teams out of Geneva or Lausanne for two days. Informal work areas, lounge corners, furnished terraces.
Cultural events and festivals. Montreux has a dense musical and cultural season, generating VIP areas, partner lounges and reception zones to furnish temporarily.
Private receptions. Birthdays, family celebrations, events in the residences of the Riviera and the hills above Montreux.

What the setting demands of the furniture

On the Riviera the rule is the opposite of a city event. In Geneva or Lausanne, the furniture has to create the atmosphere; here, it has to step back before the view. The selections that work best favour clean lines, natural materials and low heights that do not cut across the lake perspective.

We compose from our stock: sofas and armchairs for lounge areas, chairs and tables for dining, coffee tables, sideboards, lighting and decoration. Here, outdoor furniture is more than an add-on: it is often the heart of the event.

Three local realities to plan for

Access. Many Riviera venues sit on slopes, on terraced land or in vineyards with narrow lanes. A lorry does not get everywhere. Describe the real access at the quote stage: it changes how we size the team.
The weather. An outdoor lakeside event needs a plan B. We build the indoor fallback into the proposal rather than improvising it the day before.
The season. From May to September, and especially around the major cultural fixtures, demand surges across the whole Riviera. Two to three months' notice is not excessive for a wedding.

Frequently asked questions

How far ahead should we book for a wedding?

Two to three months for high season — more if your date falls during a major regional event. The available selection shrinks fast between May and September.

Do you furnish wine estates and private properties?

Yes, frequently, on the Riviera and in Lavaux. Tell us about access constraints — narrow lanes, slopes, no loading bay — so we size the team correctly.

What happens if it rains?

We discuss it at the quote stage and plan the fallback. Outdoor furniture copes with damp, but an event reorganises far better when plan B is already written.

Do you work with planners and caterers?

Regularly. Our business is furniture and decoration: we coordinate gladly with your planner, your caterer and your technical provider.

Do you deliver as far as Villeneuve and into Lavaux?

Yes, the whole Riviera is covered, from Vevey to Villeneuve and the terraced villages. Give us the exact address and we will confirm the access conditions.
